Andrew Tanner

Andrew Tanner joins Farrar, Hennesy and Tanner as the firm’s newest associate, continuing a multi-generation legacy that has long shaped both his professional path and personal values. As the oldest son of partner Drew Tanner, Andrew grew up around the firm, developing an early, first-hand appreciation for its commitment to integrity, service and genuine care for clients.

Andrew earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University in 2017, majoring in Marketing with a minor in Finance, where he built a strong foundation in communication and relationship development. Before entering law school, he worked for a freight forwarding company and later at Colony Bank, experiences that strengthened his understanding of business operations, client service and practical problem solving. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law, graduating in 2024.

After joining the firm as an associate attorney, Andrew remained committed to upholding Farrar, Hennesy and Tanner’s long-standing tradition of client-focused representation. He takes pride in guiding individuals and families through difficult circumstances while ensuring clients feel informed, supported and confident throughout the legal process.

Outside the office, Andrew prioritizes time with family and remains active in his faith community at Saint Andrew’s Anglican Church. He married his wife, Tiffany, in May 2023, and together they are raising their daughter, Evelyn. His dedication to family, friends and community closely reflects the mission and values that continue to guide Farrar, Hennesy and Tanner.
